One year......my smart year:)

It's been well over a year now.
One year(and some odd months) since I willing-ly, regretfully took my daughter to see the other partner who made life for her....It's the only thing I thank him for.
One year since he introduced himself to her by his first name.
One year (a little more now) since he even has asked about her.
One year since I promised to never do that again.
One year since the other woman in his life was nice enough to tell me the truth. "He's on heroin" 
One year since he called me a whore on social media.
One year I got down on my knees and thanked the lord for showing me ONE last time why I should be thankful he's not in her life.
One year ago, I finally was no longer scared to take his petty butt to court!
One.Year....taught me SO much!
Can't wait to see what this next year brings!
